Do you Travel?
I'm based in Macclesfield, 5mins from Emerald and work within the Hills area, Yarra Ranges, Casey & Cardinia Shires.
How many photographs will we receive?
As many or as few as you would like. We can chat to work our exactly what you would like as the end result to your session.
How do we book you?
Amazing! Booking as soon as possible to ensure availability is recommended. You can send me an sms on 0411-210-768 or fill in the contact form and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
Can you help us with planning?
I sure can. We will have a planning consultation to tailor the whole session to you.
What should we do for a family session?
There are so many beautiful places to have your family session. We can work out the best place for your family in our consultation.
What should we wear?
Keep to a fairly neutral colour palette but don’t all be matching. Avoid really loud colours and patterns. Better yet, shoot me a message and I'll send you a what to wear guide.
What if my kids won't engage?
That’s okay! Many children are shy or have a hard time with posing for photos. That’s why we forget a lot of the posing and just get you all hanging out and loving on each other! You just enjoy the moment and I’ll worry about the photos.
What happens if it rains?
Not to worry! If your shoot date gets rained out, we can either select an alternate location, I know a gorgeous one, or reschedule to a date that fits you. Or we can always splash around in the rain!
When is my payment due?
Your deposit is due when booking to reserve your date. The remainder of your balance is to be paid prior to your session. Photos cannot be edited until payment has been made in full.
What's your shooting style for families?
I am a portrait & lifestyle photographer. My style is geared towards capturing real moments! This means getting you interacting a lot and not a huge amount of posing, and having fun together, because that’s where the magic happens!
How do we receive our photographs?
I will take you through your images in an ordering consultation and help you work out what to put on your walls. I will then deliver your photographs to you personally.
When should I book?
Book at least 4 weeks ahead, but well in advance is highly recommended! We can then set to work planning your session.
Do you retouch photos?
I do colour grade your images to match with your feel. I don’t mess with nature but if you have a cut or pimple, something that won’t be there forever, then I can remove this for you.
How long is a photo shoot?
Depending on your session type & the number of locations, the time can be anywhere from a fast 30 minutes to a half day of adventures where I tag along and document the action!
Are sessions indoors or outdoors?
All session locations are chosen by collaboration with you, to bring your unique vision to life. Indoors or outdoors - we’ll make it happen!
Can I cancel / reschedule my booking?
After booking, deposits are non-refundable, as I am holding the date for you and already busy planning your session. If you or someone in your family are feeling unwell contact me so we can reschedule, you won’t lose your deposit.
What is your turn around time?
This does depend on the season, some are just a lot busier than others. I aim to have you ordering consultation within two weeks and the printer is usually quite quick but, be sure to allow extra time for busy seasons such as Christmas.
What form of payments do you accept?
I accept payment via bank transfer, PayPal, cash or card. A 3% credit card fee applies. Contact me for payment details & to book your session!
